It has begun

Hi all

Well I have done my part and created this fabulous blog spot for us all

As I said in my original email this blog is to be a place where we can share professional ideas, brainstorm, share information about what we are reading, doing, trying, would like to try etc

It's not aimed to take the place of meetings and it should be informal (but still professional)

BUT we have to make an effort to check it, update it, use it etc…

Lets put the time into it and make OUR blog fun and relevant

For our first sharing task why not make up a Library Thing account (if you haven't already) and tell us what you are reading

Go to http://www.librarything.com/ and explore. Don't forget to tell us how to find you once you are set up

Cheers

Hello I am green at this however, congrats to Kristen for setting this up.

Not quite sure what I am supposed to do to set up the new account to share book reviews but I will have a go.

Over and out Louise

Ok - I've set up on Librarything as:
adam-ant1

(Thought I'd keep it clean) :)

I've added in latest I've read -'Behemoth' by Stephen Baxter.
Do not read much sci-fi but loved this. Great that you've set this up
Kristen.

While I'm here I might as well leave my Librarything info for you all.
I can be found under hettie_betty
and what's on there is less than half my library so I'll be adding to it once I find the time!

Currently I am tackling Joyce Carol Oates. I have recently read 'First Love: a gothic tale' and 'Rape: a love story.' I'm now on to 'We were the Mulvaneys.' I'm beginning to notice a pattern in old Oatesies choice of topic. Anyone else read her before?

PS Great work Kristen for setting this up.

Ha, I've only read 4 books since my twins were born, i find as soon as i sit down to read i fall asleep! When i did read i liked fantasy or murder, perhaps everyone's reviews will inspire.
cheers
